Stephanie was the Recreation Director during my husband’s residency at Lansdowne Heights. She was a joy to know!
I’m still processing this incredibly sad news but I hope her family knows how important each one of you were to her. I felt like I knew you from all the stories -all good!- she shared of you
May God continue to watch over you. You will remain in my prayers
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Wishmyer,
The YMCA family—staff, volunteers, and members—is sincerely heartbroken to hear of Stephanie's unexpected and sudden passing.
As the District Executive Director of the Fairfax County Reston YMCA, I want to express our staff's deep sadness at Stephanie's passing.
Stephanie dutifully served as Reston Y's Aquatics Coordinator for over six years, collaborating with her peers to create impactful programming and gracing our members with her presence and smile.
Our prayers and thoughts continue to be with you and your family as you navigate this difficult time. Please know that our hearts are with you, and Stephanie's spirit lives on in every life she touched.
Sincerely,
Jason Jackson

Jim and Debbie: Vickie and I are shocked and saddened about Stephanie's passing. We add our prayers to those of many others for God's love and peace to hold you during this time when no words are adequate to express what you are going through. We remember with fondness serving with you on the Eastern Shore and in Northern Virginia. As you have ministered to so many others over the years, may you know and receive the love and support from all of us who hold you in our hearts and prayers both now and in the days ahead.
