Steven Ray Chambers' Obituary
Steven Ray Chambers, age 54, of Leesburg, VA, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 19, 2011. Steven was born February 1, 1957 in Huntington, WV; he was a son of the late Raymond Eugene Chambers and Vada Aills Chambers of Waldorf, MD.
Stationed at Andrews Air Force Base in Camp Springs, MD, Mr. Chambers served his country in the U.S. Air Force/District of Columbia Air National Guard for 20 years. He was presently employed as a Airway Transportation System Specialist with the Federal Aviation Administration at Dulles Airport.
He enjoyed life's simpler things, such as restoring his 1971 Chevy pickup, taking long drives, hiking in state and national parks, camping, canoeing and watching NASCAR. He was fascinated by military and world history.
His memory will be cherished by his wife Deborah Krucelyak Chambers of Leesburg; his three children, Kristine, Richard, and Nathan, all of Leesburg, VA; his mother Vada Aills Chambers and his sister Vicki Bush of Brandywine, MD.
Friends may call on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 from 2 to 4 pm and from 6 to 8 pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 148 Catoctin Circle, Leesburg, VA. A Funeral Service will begin at 11 am on Wednesday at the funeral home with Chaplain Gary Smith of INOVA Loudoun Fire and Rescue officiating. Interment will follow in Leesburg Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.
