Surinder Singh Sandhu's Obituary
SURINDER SINGH SANDHU, 92 of Centreville, Virginia died on Friday, March 10, 2023, in Fairfax, Virginia.
Born Friday, March 21, 1930, in India, he was the son of the late Major Babu Singh Sandhu and the late Kartar Kaur Gill Sandhu.
Surinder is survived by his wife of 68 years, Surjit Kaur Sandhu, son, Jaskamal Sandhu, and daughter, Parminder Kaur Brar. Surinder was an avid field hockey player in Punjab, loved to garden and visit the Merrifield Garden Center, and never missed the Sunday Comics from the Washington Post.
The family will receive guests for a visitation, Friday March 17, 2023, from 10:00AM. Sikh Funeral Rites will begin at 10:30am.
