Susan Branin's Obituary
Mrs. Susan Crate Branin, 76, went home with Jesus on February 15, 2007, in Leesburg, VA. Born on May 31, 1930 in Camden, NJ, Susan was a daughter of the late Dr. John Alfred Crate, and the late Sara Carson Crate. She lived most of her life in Merchantsville, NJ, until moving to Ft. Myers, FL. Mrs. Branin worked as a Medical Secretary for Edward L. Davis, D.O. She was predeceased by her husband Jay Fleetwood Branin. Mrs. Branin moved to VA, in 2006 to be close to her family and was a resident of Heritage Hall.
She is survived by her loving daughter Judy Ann Barndt of Sterling, VA, grandson Daniel Barndt of Sterling, two great grand daughters, her brother Walter Crate of Cleveland, OH, and sister Joan Williamson of Ormond Beach, FL, as well as many other relatives and friends who will miss her very much.
A memorial celebration of Susan’s life will take place on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at 11:00 am at the Worship Center Assembly of God, 19227 Gleedsville Road, Leesburg, VA, 20175. Interment will be held privately at a later date in FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Susan’s memory to Odyssey Hospice, 8381 Old Courthouse Road, Suite 100, Vienna, VA 22182.
