Sushil Kumar Anand's Obituary
In loving memory of Sushil Kumar Anand, who passed away on January 05, 2026, at 91 years old in Chantilly, Virginia, United States. He was the devoted husband of Rani Anand and loving father of Sunil (Tina) Anand, Anita (Dhruva) Sahai, and Rohit (Chhavi) Anand. He was blessed with 7 grandchildren - Malavika Sahai, Kanika Sahai, Anya Anand, Rohan Anand, Nikhil Anand, Vihan Anand, and Arjit Anand. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Sushil was born on July 22, 1934, and received a BA-LLB (Bachelor of Arts with a Bachelor of Laws) degree. He had a lifetime career with Air India, and was based in Patel Nagar, New Delhi for majority of his life where he built a community and strong friendships with neighbors and family.
One of the kindest souls on this planet, Sushil was a gentle, giving man who valued family, friends, and the simple joys in life. He faced every challenge with admirable strength and courage. He was a true role model who we will always look up to.
The cremation ceremony will take place in Leesburg, Virginia on Saturday, January 10 and a Celebration of Life will follow on Thursday, January 15 in New Delhi.
Papa, you are now at peace, but you will live on forever in our hearts. We love you so much.
