Suzanna T. Sokol's Obituary
Suzanna T. Sokol, 94, of Chantilly, VA since 2005, formerly of Westbury, NY passed away on Wednesday, September 25th 2013. Mrs. Sokol was born August 3rd 1919 in Hempstead, NY to the late Klemens and Genevive Humenski Grabowski. Her husband Stanly J. Sokol predeceased her in 1984. She graduated St. John’s University with her RN degree and worked with Nassau County until retiring in the late 1970’s.
Mrs. Sokol is survived by her beloved five children: Ronald Sokol, Robert Sokol, Lorraine Hanks, James Sokol, Arlene Hilton; a sister: Emily Junda; a brother-in-law: Walter SoKol; thirteen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Monday, September 30th 2013 at St. Brigid’s Roman Catholic Church, 75 Post Avenue, Westbury, NY. Interment will follow in the Cemetery of the Holy Road in Westbury. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to INOVA Loudoun Nursing and Rehabilitation 235 Old Waterford Rd., Leesburg VA 20176.
