Tanya Lynn Bennett Opperman's Obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Tanya Lynn Bennett Opperman, 42 of Aldie, Virginia. Tanya passed on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, in Aldie, Virginia.
Born Friday, December 11, 1981, in Ft. Belvoir, VA, she was the daughter of Mark Alan Bennett and Calista Jean Castagnetto Carroll.
She was a graduate of Radford University and was employed by Bayer as a Women’s Health Specialist.
Tanya leaves many to cherish in her memory, including her husband of 15 years Brian William O. Opperman; son, Brady William Opperman, mother, Calista Jean Castagnetto Carroll (Mark), father, Mark Alan Bennett (Dianne), sisters, Angie Jackson, Brittney Everitt (Jason) and Shea Hamilton (Tate), brothers, Warren Bennett (Caity) and Ellis Bennett, grandmother, Mrs. Warren Polk (Joan), grandmother, Mrs. Robert Castagnetto (Barbara Susan Guay) and mother-in-law, Diane Opperman.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Robert Castagnetto (Susan), maternal grandmother, Betty Seiber (Harry), paternal grandfather, Willard Bennett and paternal grandmother, Shirley Bennett and grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Patrick Carroll, grandfather Warren Polk.
A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday at Heritage Baptist Church located at 21700 Shellhorn Road Ashburn, Virginia 20147. Interment will be held privately at Stonewall Memorial Cemetery in Mannassas, VA.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Tanya’s honor to Inheritance of Hope.
