Teresa Louise Howard's Obituary
TERESA “TESS” LOUISE HOWARD, 82 of Sterling, Virginia passed on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, in Herndon, Virginia. Born Thursday, April 6, 1944 in Waterford, Virginia , she was the daughter of the late Charles Mallory and the late Mary “Louise” Ferrell Mallory. Teresa graduated from Douglas Senior High School, Leesburg, Virginia in 1962. Teresa moved to Washington, DC and went to work for Local 669 Joint Apprenticeship Committee where she retired after 45 years. Tess leaves many to cherish her memory including three sons,Christopher Mallory, Arlington, Virginia, Sadah Ali of Arlington, Virginia, and Keith Ridley of Falls Church, Virginia, her only daughter, Akilah Ridley of Bowie, Maryland. Sisters Ellen Lynn Mallory-Smith of Queen City, North Carolina and Nardeka Reid of Ashburn, Virginia; and 1 grandchild Roderick Wright of Arlington, Virginia. She was predeceased by brothers, Wesley G. Mallory, Charles Mallory, and sisters Patricia Morrison and Karen Spriggs.
A memorial service will be held at First Mount Olive Baptist Church, Leesburg, Virginia on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 11:00AM. Flowers can be sent to Loudoun Funeral Chapel, Leesburg, Virginia.
