Teresa Rose Tupaj's Obituary
Teresa Rose Tupaj, 64, passed away on January 9, 2026, surrounded by her husband and children.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and grew up in Southeast Michigan, where she met her husband of 41 years while attending the University of Michigan.
Teresa is survived by her husband Gary, her daughter Becky Wyngarden (Michael), her son Nick Tupaj, her grandsons James and Eli, and her brother Steve Wisienski (Chris).
Visitation will be held at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle SE, Leesburg, VA 20175 on January 23, 2026, from 2pm to 3pm and from 5pm to 8pm.
A celebration of life mass will be held at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 101 Oakcrest Manor Dr NE, Leesburg, VA 20176 on January 24, 2026, starting at noon.
In lieu of flowers, Teresa’s family asks that you consider donating to the Inova Schar Cancer Center (https://join.inova.org/cancerservices) and specifically checking the box “Make this gift in honor or memory” / “In memory of…” / “Honoree Name” specifying Teresa Tupaj. This will forward the donation specifically to the wonderful oncology team that supported them with information and kindness as they traveled this long journey as a family.
