Teresita Soda's Obituary
Mrs. Teresita B. Soda, 55, of Chantilly, VA, lost her battle with cancer on Wednesday, August 6, 2008. She was born on October 14, 1952 in Cebu, Philippines. A daughter of the late Gaspar Bingco and Narissa Tumulac Bingco. Raised in the Philippines, Teresita moved to the US in 1978.
Teresita worked as beautician for the Hidden Oasis Salon in Fairfax Station. She was an avid Bingo player who frequented the Centerville Fire Hall. She was a beautiful lady who loved her family.
She is survived by her husband Robert Soda of Chantilly, two daughters; Sheila and her husband Jason Elmore of Charlotte, NC, and Jessica Soda of Chantilly, VA; her granddaughter, Jordan Danielle Elmore; her father-in-law: Daniel R. Soda, Sr. of Coraopolis, PA.
She is also survived by seven siblings, Laddy Bingco, Alex Bucayan, Rosa Pulvera, and Donyo Bingco all of Cebu, Philippines; Cora Rehome of Tomah, WI, Connie Webster of Fairfax Station, VA, and Romy Bingco of Cebu, Philippines.
On Thursday, August 14, and Friday August 15, 2008 the family will receive friends from 6 to 9 pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA 20175.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 1:00 pm at Centerpointe Church 4104 Legato Road, Fairfax, VA 22033.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Teresita’s memory to the Soda family; to help her relatives in the Philippines.
