Teri Jane Heskett
Teri Jane Heskett, 67, of Purcellville VA passed on June 27th, 2026, in the presence of her brothers at Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, VA due to a host of pre-existing conditions.
Teri, a lifelong Loudoun native, was born on November 7th,1958 to Theodore R. Heskett, Jr. and Janie Munday Heskett. She graduated from Loudoun County High School in 1976 and Shepherd College in 1981. Teri was well known to numerous folks through her work at the Town of Purcellville, Nichols Hardware, various banks in Purcellville and Leesburg; to a select few, as a licensed private investigator.
Her interests centered on crafting, cooking and baking, gardening, and game shows (Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune in particular). Her needlepoint, crochet, and baking skills were amazing. Many family members are lucky to have her artwork hanging in their homes. Her desserts made many holidays and cookouts even sweeter. Teri shared a family-interest in thoroughbred racehorses, parimutuel wagering, and Charles Town Racetrack.
Teri is preceded in death by her parents Theodore (Tommy) Jr. and Janie. She is survived by her brothers and sisters: Gary (Cyn), Lori, Tami, and Troy (Andrea); and her nephew Shane and nieces Morgan, Katherine, Elizabeth, Heather, and Kimberly.
Cremation and a small family service will be held at a later date.
