I will always remember the time we got stranded at Heather and Tesfu’s house because of snow storm and Tesfu took my boys Dylan and Trey sledding… we used baking sheets and cookie sheets and had a great time…

Another time that stands out in my mind was the day Samuel came home from the hospital and we had a tornado right in the front of the apartment they lived in. He ran out to the porch in the backyard to rescue the twin stroller that was flying up into the air. I grabbed him by his belt to keep him from going over the fence with the stroller. He had to cut a hole through the trees that landed on the front porch in order to get out of the house. Mom

I remember when Heather was 9 months pregnant for Elijah and we had been shopping at the mall which was close to their home but she was too tired to walk up the hill. So we called Tesfu to come get us but he couldn’t start the car so he came with a bicycle. We put her on it and he and I pushed her up the hill on the bike. It was so funny. Also that same day we had made ornaments for the Christmas tree and cut them into Christmas shapes and he thought they were cookies and tried to eat them. He told use they were the worst tasting cookies he ever ate. Then we told him they were not cookies but ornaments made from clay. 😂

Tesfu was the father of my 3 nephews.. We are very proud and blessed to have Elijah Isaiah and Samuel .. My prayers are with them and Tesfu’s family… May he be with Jesus in heaven… May God be with all who knew him and loved him…
