Theodore Stephen Krivoruchka's Obituary
Theodore (Ted) Stephen Krivoruchka, age 61, of Leesburg, VA, passed away at home on Friday, June 28, 2024 after battling multiple health issues over the last two years.
Ted was born in Alexandria, VA on August 22, 1962 to Theodore and Patty
Bernice (nee: Capar) Krivoruchka. Ted graduated from Annandale High School, then attended Virginia Tech majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Ted worked as a software engineer. He particularly enjoyed working at start-up companies in the software industry, and built a reputation for his analytical capabilities. He was employed by Verizon in Ashburn, VA at the time of his death.
Ted is survived by his wife of 23 years, Diane Berg, and their children, Thomas and Sophia. Also surviving Ted are his siblings, Mark (Terry) Krivoruchka of Scottsdale, AZ, Eve (Lon) Tschetter of Amelia Island, FL, Mary Beth (Tom) McClay of Hummelston, PA, and John (Monica) Krivoruchka of Tampa, FL, aunts, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ted was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, William Krivoruchka.
Ted will be remembered for his kindness and giving, and his love of professional sports. He was a die-hard fan of Washington’s teams. He loved his family, music, dogs, good dad jokes, and was known for quick goodbyes at parties and events. Teddy will be missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Loudoun Hunger Relief.
