Thomas "Mickey" A Finn's Obituary
Thomas “Mickey” Alan Finn, 82, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026, in Berryville, Virginia. Born on May 21, 1943, in Pensacola, Florida, Mickey was a man whose life was defined by faith and an unwavering sense of duty. He graduated from the Virginia Military Institute in 1965 with a degree in History as a commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps. He served in Vietnam with distinction until 1968, attaining the rank of Captain.
In January 1966, Mickey married the love of his life, Jane Ann Thompson. Together, they built a 60-year legacy of devotion, mutual respect, and family.
Following his military service, Mickey built a career in the information technology industry. His entrepreneurial spirit eventually led him to establish his own computer service business in Loudoun County, Known for his integrity and work ethic, he was a mentor to many and a dedicated member of the Olive Branch Lodge of the Free Masons in Leesburg.
Upon retirement, he and Jane moved to Wilmington, NC and he attended Scott’s Hill Baptist church where he enjoyed teaching Sunday School. He was blessed with a wonderful church family, special friends and neighbors in Wilmington.
Mickey was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Helen Carlson Finn; his sister, Patricia Finn Graves; and his parents-in-law, Robert and Ann Thompson.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jane Ann Finn; his sons, Gregory A. Finn (Janet) and Jeff Finn (Kari); his grandchildren, William Finn (Hannah) and Jessica Webb; and his great-grandchild, Andrew Webb; and sister-in-law, Marti Baumann.
Mickey will be greatly missed not only by his family, but a host of friends and neighbors.
The family invites family and friends to gather for a visitation and service on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at:
Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg, VA 20175
• Visitation: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
• Memorial Service: 2:00 PM
Services will be officiated by Pastor John Nuzum.
In honor of Mickey’s legacy of service, flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
Mickey will be laid to rest at the National Memorial Cemetery at Quantico at a later date.
