Thomas Edward Frank's Obituary
Thomas Edward Frank was born March 13, 1946 in King City, Missouri to Nyda and Malcolm Frank.
He passed away on December 20, 2021.
Tom graduated from King City High School where he was on the student council in 1964. He received a degree in business from NorthWest Missouri State University. He continued to be a proud Bearcat and KC Chiefs fan.
He came to Virginia during a service term in the United States Army at the Pentagon during the Vietnam war. He was competitive and driven. He was a young partner at DeRand Corporation where he served as a financial planner. He later moved on to real estate development founding American Housing Associates and then serving as president of American Senior Living.
He thrived in his work. Tom also had a true love for tennis and was a supporter of the Catholic Diocese of Arlington and it's charities. He and his wife sang in the Choir at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Ashburn, Va.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother Richard "Doug" Frank. He is survived by his wife Bella Arevelo Frank, his sister Ann O'Hara (Terry) and sister-in-law Anne Frank, his children Meridith Dunford (Kelby) and Matthew Frank, and his 5 grandchildren Ryan Dunford, Connor Dunford, Kinley Dunford, Sandra Frank and Matthew Jaymz Frank.
He will be interred at Quantico National Cemetery with a private family burial service on Monday December 27th at 12:30.
