Thomas Wade Hampton's Obituary
THOMAS WADE HAMPTON, 66, of Leesburg, Virginia died early on Wednesday May 31, 2023.
Born in Hollywood, CA on Friday, June 15, 1956, Tom was the eldest son of the late Col. Robert Wade Hampton (U.S. Army – Retired) and the late Patricia (Smith) Hampton (U.S. Army – Retired) of Oakton, VA.
Tom is survived by his sister Katherine (Hampton) Gibb and her husband, Larry (Butch) of Berryville, VA; by his brother Richard Hampton and his wife, Karen of Ashburn, VA; and by his brother Michael Hampton and his wife, Wendy of Leesburg, VA.
Tom is also survived by two nieces and three nephews: Samuel Hampton of Verona, VA; Rachel Gibb of Berryville, VA and her longtime boyfriend, Brendan Rogers; Kyle Gibb of Berryville, VA; Amanda Hampton of New York, NY; and Garrett Hampton of Tempe, AZ. In addition, Tom was very close to a number of cousins and extended family in California. Tom will be greatly missed by his longtime close family friends, the Ramey family of Frederick, MD (Wheeler, Sue, and Kristin).
Tom leaves behind a “family” of colleagues and co-workers at Allied Universal Services, where he worked in Ashburn, VA in the facilities security and physical access consulting business for nearly 10 years.
