OBITUARY INFORMATION
THOMAS ALLEN WENNER, 69, a life long resident of Lovettsville, Virginia died suddenly on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 in Lovettsville. Mr. Wenner was born July 9th, 1940 in Lovettsville to the late George Franklin and Catherine Mabel Virts Wenner. He retired in 2006 from Covance in Vienna, VA after 42 years. Mr. Wenner was an avid fan of NASCAR and the Dallas Cowboys. He loved to work on cars, having recently restored his ‘75 Chevrolet Chevelle. To his family and friends, he will always be remembered for his tireless dedication to helping others.
Mr. Wenner is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years Barbara Ann Wenner of Lovettsville; two children: Todd Allen Wenner of Martinsburg, WV, Kelly Renee Wenner of Lovettsville, VA; one sister: Nancy Lee and husband Bernard Orndorff of Lovettsville; mother-in-law: Annie Hoffman of Brunswick, MD; seven grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at the Brown-Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 34 East Broad Way, Lovettsville, VA on Sunday, November 15th, 2009 from 2-5:00 pm. Services will be held on Monday, November 16th at 1 pm at the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church in Lovettsville with Rev. Roland England officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
