Todd John Boehnlein's Obituary
Todd Boehnlein found eternal peace on Dec. 8th. Todd was a kind, loving and sensitive soul who loved and was dearly loved by his family and friends. He had an infectious laugh and a witty sense of humor.
He grew up in Neenah, Wisconsin in a house on Lake Winnebago. He was the son of the late Jack and Elaine Boehnlein and brother to Lori (Kurt) Smith. His childhood was filled with fun and adventures. He attended College in Wisconsin before joining Lori and Kurt to Northern Virginia, which became his long time home.
He loved fiercely and completely, especially his wife Elizabeth and his incredible son Griff. Griff and Todd enjoyed watching sports and discussing the games. The three of them could be seen often cuddling up on the couch. His cat Otto could often be found there as well knowing Todd would dote on him.
He was a second father to his two nieces Kaitlin (Spencer) Conover and Anna (Bobby) Wintersteen. He was a proud great uncle to Nora Conover who he called his little burrito.
He was willing to step up and help both loved ones and total strangers alike. Our hearts are incredibly heavy and his passing leaves a huge hole.
We will strive to honor his life by caring for each other, loving each other and making new happy memories as he would want. Hold each other close and never take a moment for granted.
A Memorial Visitation will take place at Arcola Methodist Church on Monday December, 27, 2021 between 5:00 and 7:00PM. The Memorial Service will follow, beginning at 7:00pm.
