Todd Coleman Jones' Obituary
Todd Coleman Jones, age 48, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Purcellville on July 17, 2017.
Born on April 1, 1969 in Washington, DC, he was the beloved son of Carolyn (Wood) Williams of Southport, NC and John Jones of Leesburg and loving step-parents Margaret Jones and Ron Williams. He is also survived by his brother Christopher Jones of St. Cergue, Switzerland, sister-in-law Erin Jones, 15 month old niece Sophie Jones, two step-brothers, Lance and Guy Williams, and one step-sister, Lorri Williams Martin and their families and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Todd was a patriot and a Christian, enjoyed spending time with his family (especially his niece) and many close friends. He will always be remembered for his incredibly outgoing personality, jovial nature, infectious smile, big heart and his willingness to always help others.
Todd grew up in Leesburg, graduated from Loudoun County High School in 1988, and graduated from Old Dominion University with a BA degree. After living in Florida for several years he moved to Switzerland where he taught snowboarding for two seasons. While living in Switzerland he traveled to several European countries and enjoyed new experiences. He returned to Loudoun County and worked at Gold’s Gym as a fitness consultant. He also was a VP at Enshin Karate Dojo in Ashburn and enjoyed working with children. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as camping, kayaking and motorcycle riding with friends.
Visitation will be held at Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Circle SE Leesburg, VA, 20175 at 11:30 AM on August 12th followed by a memorial service at noon. There will be a celebration of his life that afternoon.
