Tom Dean Causin's Obituary
THOMAS DEAN CAUSIN, 49, of Ashburn, Virginia since 1990 died suddenly on Monday, February 21, 2011 in Williamsburg, Virginia. Mr. Causin was born May 3rd 1961 in Olympia, Washington. He was raised in Falls Church, Virginia and graduated Jeb Stuart High School. Mr. Causin had a passion for sailing. Throughout his life he raced at the national level and had reconditioned several vessels over the years. Mr. Causin was the founder of the AMYC- Ashburn Model Yacht Club and was presently working as an IT Coordinator with the Loudoun County Government.
Mr. Causin is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Helen Marie Causin of Ashburn; three daughters: Samantha Farmer of Martinsburg, WV, Trisha Causin of Longwood University, Jenna Causin of Ashburn; his parents: Robert and Gwen Simmons Causin of Washington, NC; two sisters: Cindy Neale of Kennett Square, PA, Debby McClellan of Williamsburg, VA; a brother: Robert “Buz” Causin of Winter Haven, FL; two grandchildren: Ashton and Aiden Farmer.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, February 28, 2011 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg, VA with a dear friend officiating Gary Clemons. Interment will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the following:
Causin Family Scholarship Trust, Loudoun County United Way, Ashburn Ruritan Club.
