Tula Frances Timms' Obituary
Mrs. Tula Frances Timms, 91, of Lucketts, VA, died Thursday, October 22, 2009, at her home.. Tula was born on October 18, 1918 in Floyd, County, VA. She was the daughter of the late John Henry Quesenberry and the late Printy Okey Quesenberry. She moved to Lucketts in her youth and remained for over 75 years. Mrs. Timms was predeceased by her husband Bruce Franklin Timms in 1973. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Tula enjoyed quilting, cooking, and gardening. She was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church in Stumptown.
She is survived by one daughter, Katherine Miller, of Leesburg, VA; two sisters, Minnie Calhoun of Leesburg, VA, and Helen Edwards of Richmond, Va.
She is also survived by four grandchildren: Frank Fox and wife Kathy of Lovettsville, Teresa Gant and husband Bobby of Lucketts, Joseph Fox of Leesburg, and Kevin Fox and wife Marty of Augusta, WV; eight great-grand children, and three great-great-grand children.
Friends may call on Sunday, October 24, 2009 from 4 to 8 pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapels, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg, VA 20175.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 26, 2009, with Paster Lee officiating.
Interment will follow in Leesburg Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.
