I never had the privilege of knowing Tyler or his family, but understand the complexities and tribulations of our gifted youth...feelings of misunderstandings, lack of perfection, and feeling of lack of understanding by society. Finding your place in life is difficult. Clearly he was surrounded by familial love. I mourn deeply for your loss. I have unfortunately lost several of my former gifted students and a husband in the same manner as Tyler. Losses which are difficult to find meaning for and too difficult to explain. God bless.
I did not have the privilege of meeting Tyler, but I worked with Billy and Lindsey at Seneca Ridge. The words I have read regarding Tyler’s life show the faith that these two loving individuals possess; your faith during this difficult time is and inspiration to others. Tyler was in my Grade 10 honors class. He was exceptionally bright, occasionally troublesome, but always honest and caring. I have fond memories of lengthy arguments in class and his quirky sense of humor. You are all in my prayers.
