Vincent Patrick Bonner's Obituary
Vincent Patrick Bonner, age 49, of Ashburn, VA, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021, at his home in Ashburn, VA.
Born Sunday, June 13, 1971 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he is survived by his parents, Vincent and Anne (Shugrue) Bonner, his three children Tricia, Anna, and Jack Bonner, and his sister Julie and brother-in-law David Sugg and their children Nicholas and Jacob, all of Ashburn, VA.
Raised in sunny Florida and blessed with a natural talent for golf, Vince received a Bachelor’s degree in International Politics from Penn State University while on a golf scholarship. He subsequently assisted with coaching golf at American University while obtaining a Master of Arts in International Affairs. Vince went on to serve his country for over twenty years as an Intelligence Analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency.
In his free time, Vince enjoyed many passions including The New York Times crossword puzzles, voracious reading, playing his Yamaha piano, golf with his many friends at Belmont Country Club and teaching students at George Mason University as an adjunct professor. The “Piano Man’s” love of music, particularly Bruce Springsteen’s, was exceeded only by his love and pride for his three children.
