Virginia Ruth Doiron's Obituary
Virginia Ruth Doiron, 86, of Sterling, VA, died August 18, 2016. Ruth, devoted wife of the late Joseph D. Doiron, gently slipped from this earth on a long, lazy summer evening. She is survived by her sisters Joanne and Betty of Charlotte, NC; daughter Lynn and her husband Jim, son Tom and his wife Cathy, daughter Colleen and her husband Reyan; grandchildren Frank, Joey, Jake, Antonia and Jacqui; and a remarkable group of lifelong friends.
Born in North Carolina in 1930, Ruth and her beloved Joe went on to see the world, but she never lost sight of her Carolina roots. After traveling the globe, Joe and Ruth settled in Virginia where Ruth raised her children, loved her grandchildren, and raised a long line of truly spoiled cats. Ruth was a devoted Catholic, an avid gardener, and has been unanimously proclaimed “the world’s greatest cook.”
Ruth loved Joe. Throughout more than 57 years of marriage, they were inseparable; a love for the ages. They are at last and forever together again. Services will be held Saturday, August 27 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel in Leesburg, Virginia at 11am.
