Vivian Elizabeth Harris 's Obituary
Vivian Elizabeth Harris, 78, of Leesburg, VA, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2014 at her residence.
Born on March 16, 1936, she was the only child of the late Warren Harris and the late Violet Mallory Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, Darrel.
A lifelong resident of Loudoun County, Vivian graduated from Douglas High School in 1954 and attended all of her class reunions for years after. Once her children went on to school, she continued to help other families as a house keeper. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church and loved to sing at church.
She is survived by her two sons, Bruce and David; her grandchildren who were her whole life, David Harris Jr and Amber Harris; her aunt Frances Tibbs, who helped take care of her in the last few years; and her best friends Catherine Hoy and Rachel Bush.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 18, 2014 at Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Herbert C. Love officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
