Vivian Hatcher's Obituary
Vivian E. Hatcher, 74, of Lovettsville, VA, died Saturday, November 4, 2006, at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. Born on December 9, 1931 in Floyd County, VA. She was the daughter of the late Arthur Lee Hatcher and the late Salley Gay (Hall) Hatcher.
A life long Loudoun County resident. She was employed by Jerome Affett’s law firm in Frederick, MD, for several years. Also employed by McClain’s Grocery for many years. She was a member of Providence Primitive Baptist Church in Lovettsville. She is survived by two sisters, Nell Jacobs of Lovettsville, Theata Lawrence of Sagnaw, TX, and her two brothers, Arthur Lee Hatcher, Jr. of Boxford, MA, and Frederick Hatcher of Charles Town, WV.
She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Vivian was predeceased by seven siblings, Pierse Hatcher, Maurice Hatcher, Pershing Hatcher, Newborn Hatcher, Maureen Reed, Beatrice McClain and Ruth Sutphin.
Arrangements are being handled by Loudoun Funeral Chapels, 34 East Broad Way, Lovettsville, VA, where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, November 7, 2006. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 8, 2006, with Elder Steve Aquino officating. Interment will be in Lovettsville Union Cemetery in Lovettsville, VA.
