Wade Dennis' Obituary
MS. WADE ALEMA DENNIS, 27; a 3rd YEAR LAW STUDENT AT WASHINGTON COLLEGE OF LAW, AMERICAN UNIVERSITY and resident of Loudoun County since 1999, died on Saturday January 13, 2007 in Fairfax, VA.
Born November 13, 1979 in Monrovia, Liberia Ms. Dennis moved to the United States in 1990. She obtained her High School Diploma from Chatham Hall, an Episcopal school in Chatham, VA and graduated from the University of Virginia with Bachelor Degrees in English and History. She was a founding member of the Waterside Collaborative.
Ms. Dennis is survived by her parents, Wade Thompson Merchant of Ashburn, VA and Cyrus S. Dennis Sr. of Minneapolis, MN, one brother: Cyrus S. Dennis Jr. of Lansdowne, VA; five sisters: Krystle and Siatta Merchant of Ashburn, VA; Christiana Dennis and Cy Dennis Tukpah of Maryland, Gabriella Dennis Afolabi of Virginia and a host of other relatives and friends.
Prayer Vigil: Friday, January 19, 2007 from 7-11pm, St. David’s Episcopal Church, 43600 Russell Branch Pkwy, Ashburn, VA.
Funeral Services: Saturday, January 20, 2007 at 11:00am at St. David’s Episcopal Church and Interment will follow in St. David’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. David’s Episcopal Church in support of the Pastoral Care Ministry.
