Warren Tompkins' Obituary
Warren Tompkins, 77, at his home in Lovettsville, Virginia. He was born November 30, 1940 to the late Millie Tompkins. He was the husband of the late Betty Loy Tompkins. He is survived by his sisters Bonnie Rulapaugh of Culpeper, Virginia, Jessie Elyett of Gastonia, North Carolina and brother Walter Tompkins North Carolina. ,his Nephew Bruce Loy (Leslie), His Nieces Vicky Rulapaugh, Barb Reardon (Pat), Bonnie Hutton (Danny), Peggy Graham (Jim) and Margie Miller (Ed), he is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and his sister- in- law Mary Loy Roberson and many great friends.
Warren was known to most as (Hoggie) or lately as soggy doggy to his great nephew Grayson Smith. Warren loved the Washington Redskins, he was an avid hunter and took multiple hunting trips to Canada in his younger years. Warren could be found most warm days sitting underneath the Maple tree on the farm with his dog Missy. If you stopped by to visit you could be guaranteed a cold Budweiser and a good joke. Warren loved to have a good time and was always the life of the party. Warren worked at Chesapeake Petroleum for 50 years. He retired a few years back when his wife of almost 50 years became ill. A service will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 10am at Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA with interment to follow at Mt.
