Wesley was one of my dearest friends for many years. We spent many, many hours on a bike or in a pool hall. We lost touch over the past years, but checked in with emails every so often. I am so, saddened to hear of his passing. He was the kindest, most generous person I ever knew. Love and prayers to the Kakigi family.
When you went into Wes's office it was because you needed something from him, aspirin, a cot, change, etc. I don't remember ever giving him something. If I did I'm sure he would have given me something back. He was a giver
Wesley was a great friend and will be dearly missed. We had some good times together shooting at the Monocacy pistol club and at Harrisburg PA.
You may be gone but you won't be forgotten.

Although I didn't see Wes often, he always greeted me with a cheery "Hi!" and a warm smile. He was always willing to share his knowledge and experience with others. My deepest sympathies to all his family. We will miss him.
Wes was a kind, gentle and knowledgeable human being. He will truly be missed. Condolences to the Kakigi family.
His intellect and wit were exceeded only by his kind and generous heart. He will be sorely missed. Rest In Peace, Wes.
I worked closely with Wes for many, many years.
He was confident, generous, hard working, patient and just plain interesting and fun to be around. He mentored and assisted me ( and my son, as it turns out) many times through the years and I never regretted taking his advice on a wide range of interests in professional and personal pursuits.
It is clear that he was a brilliant, self realized person and a bright light to many, in many different ways.

I did not know Wes well but the brief time I spent them with him was very enjoyable. Great guy, so sad to hear of his passing.
