Wes will be missed. He really knew how to have a good time with others. He was one of those special people you could nearly always count on to make you feel better. He was so generous I would feel awkward at times. The guy would rarely let you reach for your wallet. That was just Wes. Awesome. Anybody who knew Wes knew that was his favorite word. It would seem corny some nights but it could be contagious and often put smiles on people's faces and maybe made them feel awesome for a little while. There's nothing wrong with that.

Thanks for the good times, Wes. YOU were awesome.

I will always have fond memories of Wes. He was a generous person to all, always willing to help in any way, especially his family and friends. I had hardly known Wes, as I was new to the the neighborhood, when he volunteered to set up his band in my backyard for a 4th of July party a few years ago. What a memorable time it was, and what a great drummer he was, too. Thanks, Wes. Though our friendship was brief, I will always remember the good times we spent together. May you rest in peace.
