William "Bill" Franklin Allison Sr's Obituary
William “Bill” Franklin Allison Sr., 72, of Winchester, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Winchester Medical Center.
He was born to the late Sam Allison Sr. and the late Virginia Leith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lizzy Blankenship.
Bill retired from the town of Leesburg in 2004 as the assistant superintendent for the street department after 22 years of service.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Janice Ruth Allison; children, William Allison Jr. and his wife, Valerie, Audrey Allison Maddox and her husband, Billy, Spanky Allison and his wife, Kelly, and Ray Allison and his wife, Tina; grandchildren, Heidi, Justin, Ashlee and Ty; brother, Sam Allison Jr. and Minnie; sister, Betty Saunders; brother-in-law, Eddie Blankenship.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 29, 2013 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel with Pastor Lewis Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Lovettsville Union Cemetery.
