William Thomas Lickey Jr. 's Obituary
William (Billy) was born March 21, 1955 in Leesburg, Virginia, first of the two children of William Thomas Lickey, Sr. and Shirley Spence Lickey Brichant. He married Deborah Mae Craighead in 1977. They had two children, Kristen and Victoria (Torie). After graduating from Fairfax High School in 1973, he worked at Seneca Auto Body in Fairfax, Virginia where he first dreamt of owning his own auto body repair business. He founded The Body Works of Virginia in 1977 and had since remained its owner. Throughout his life he was active in the Loudoun County Community supporting local events, small businesses, and sports teams. His friends and family knew him to be generous in spirit and a lively companion.
Billy was predeceased by his parents, William Thomas Lickey, Sr. and Shirley Spence Lickey Brichant. He is survived by his wife Debbie and two daughters Kristen Stanford (Chris) of Nashville TN, and Torie Skinner (Derrick) of Purcellville, Virginia. In addition, he is survived by his sister Brenda Ballenger (Gary) of Chantilly and four grandchildren Aiden Stanford, Isla Stanford, Kenley Skinner, Ryland Skinner, as well as by an abundance of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins and many, many friends.
