William Shomaker's Obituary
Mr. William Elroy Shomaker, 78, of Lovettsville, life long of Loudoun County, died Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at INOVA Loudoun Hospital Center. Born on April 9, 1929 a son of the late Charles Shomaker and the late Esther (Newton) Shomaker. Mr. Shomaker worked on the family dairy farm in Lovettsville for many years until going to work for AT & T. Mr. Shomaker worked for AT & T until retiring.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Mildred D. Shomaker of Lovettsville; his son, William L. Shomaker of Stephen City, VA; one brother, Joseph E. Shomaker of Lovettsville; one granddaughter Danielle Lea Shomaker and great granddaughter Kaydan Lea both of Stephen City. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins other family and friends.
Mr. Shomaker was predeceased by a brother Donald E. Shomaker.
Arrangements are being handled by Loudoun Funeral Chapels/ Browns, 34 East Broad Way, Lovettsville, VA, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, June 15, 2007. Funeral services will be held at Hillsboro United Methodist Church, Rt. 9 & Rt. 690, at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 16, 2007, Pastor Ralph Buddenhagen officiating. Interment will be at Lovettsville Union Cemetery in Lovettsville, Virginia.
