William M. Underwood's Obituary
William M. Underwood (Mike), age 67, formerly of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his home in Chantilly, VA on Sunday March 3, 2024. Mike was born on November 25,1956, and spent his childhood living in Tennessee and became well-traveled after graduating high school. He proudly served in the Air Force as a Radar Operator in Arizona and later lived in California where he sold cars and drove his beloved Supra up and down the coast. He later moved back home to Nashville where he met his wife and found his calling being a devoted father to his step son, Nathan, and his daughter, Taylor.
Mike enjoyed his retirement as he had always enjoyed his life, by spending it with his daughter, son in law, and two grandsons. He filled his loved ones’ days with stories and wisdom. He was always a good friend to everyone, always had a shoulder to lean on, a hand to help guide, and a good hug to help lift you up.
Mike was preceded in death by his dear parents Billie Jean and Bill Martin, his sister Deborah Nash, and his brother-in-law, Guy Reed. He is survived by his daughter, Taylor, his son in law, Marshall, his two grandsons, Keifer and Liam, and the mother of his child, Jodi Keiffer. He is also survived by his siblings Buddy Underwood (Ramona), Janice Lauer (Ted), Joe Martin, and Renee Reed.
Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, March 23rd @ 12:00pm with a visitation at 11:00am. This will be held at Green Hill Church - 13251 Lebanon Rd. Mt Juliet, TN 37122.
