William "Dan" Kelly's Obituary
Mr. William Daniel “Dan” Kelly, age 75 of Leesburg, Virginia passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2011, at INOVA Loudoun Hospital Center in Lansdowne, Virginia .
Dan was born on Friday, July 19, 1935, in Lynchburg, VA. He was the son of the late Francis Kelly and the late Lula Candler Kelly.
Dan served his country in the United States Army. He was employed for 35 years as an Air Traffic Control Specialist with the FAA,from 1969 to 2004.
Dan had many hobbies including flying airplanes, walking, bike riding, and horseback riding. He also loved to read and his cats.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Diana Blake Kelly. He was predeceased by a son David Edward Kelly in 1994.
The family will receive guests from 1 to 2 pm on Friday, July 29, 2011 at the Loudoun
Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m.
Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium, at 10 am on August 24, 2011. Those who wish to attend should meet at the administration building by 9:30am.
