William Elwood "Bill" Dean, Jr.'s Obituary
WILLIAM “Bill” ELWOOD DEAN, JR., 85, of Berryville, VA, formerly of Sterling, VA died on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 in Winchester, VA. Mr. Dean was born in Rorhsville, MD on September 15, 1923 to the late William E. Sr. and Carie Elvira Norwood Dean. His wife Helen Dolly Dean, and two siblings Vivian Marie Ellis and Otis Vincent Dean also predeceased him. He retired as a custodian from Arlington County Public Schools.
Mr. Dean is survived one brother: Clarence H. Dean Sr. of Kearneysville, WV; one sister: Myrtle Clevenger of Harpers Ferry, WV and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE Leesburg, VA on Saturday May 16th, 2009 at 11:00am with Brother Henry Dean Jr. and Pastor James Boyce officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Ranson, 6114 Loan Oak Rd. Ranson, WV 25438.
