William Roger Housley, Jr.'s Obituary
WILLIAM ROGER HOUSLEY JR., 83, of Aldie, Virginia since 1968 died on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 in Leesburg. Mr. Housley was born September 16, 1927 in Charlottesville, VA to the late William R. Sr. and Ila Pauline Smith Housley. He was an avid hunter, loved archery and had many awards for fly fishing. Mr. Housley was a partner for over 60 years in Annandale Sports, Inc. before retiring in 2002. He was a 32nd degree Mason of the Scottish Rite, Valley of Alexandria orient of VA. Also a life member and master mason of the Henry Knox field lodge # 349.
Mr. Housley is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Gloria Harris Housley of Aldie; two sons: John David Housley Sr. and Jeff Daryl Housley both of Aldie; a sister: Joyce Woolery of Marshville, Missouri; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call on Saturday, November 6, 2010 from 10am until time of services at 11:00am with Rev. Bill Wade officiating. Interment will be private at a later date.
