🌹In loving memory of a beautiful soul. She had a Love for God, family and others. She possessed kindness, a gentle spirit and a warm welcoming smile!! I met Aunt Almeta and Uncle Lionel in 1999 in Jeanerette, LA.
Over the years we would go to Jeanerette! JT made it point to visit his aunts and uncles after arriving and before leaving. Doing our stay we would see them and definitely in church on Sunday’s. We could discuss issues of our society, life challenges; and receive sound advice, encouragement and wisdom!
She was a wonderful cook! In preparing ham I would use a glaze marinade and bake it. Aunt Almeta told me to boil it first not long, then proceed..best ham ever!
I recall them coming to California to my father/mother-in-laws home. During there stay we had them over to our home for dinner!
Aunt Almeta will never be forgotten!
💜Forever loved, your nephew and niece,
JT and Deborah DeVaull
💜Our condolences to our family🙏🏽
