I am deeply saddened by the news of Amit’s passing, but I hold on to the good memories of him. Amit was a good friend and mentor. Amit’s mentorship in my Oracle Database Administration career was impactful during our time on the Fuels project In Alexandria, Virginia. He challenged me and wanted me to grow in my career. He also cared for my wellbeing and used to check on me from time to time during the years. I also remember the interesting times we had discussing politics and faith. He used to organize fantasy football every season which included a number of his past co-workers. This initiative showed how Amit wanted to keep everyone in touch and together. Lastly, Amit will be greatly missed but his impact of my career and memory of his kindness lives in my heart. I pray for comfort for the family and may His Soul Rest in Eternal Peace. Timothy M.
