Ann McLinden Richardson, 55 of Leesburg, passed away Thursday, May 19th at Loudoun Hospital after a brief illness due to cancer. She was born Ann Hutchinson McLinden on January 20, 1961 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Hugh Josep Read Obituary
I just found out that Ann died. I was looking for her after I found some Polaroid pictures of her and me at Ski Liberty in about 1977. We went to high school together, and before that, we attended Flint Hill Preparatory School at the same time. I am so sorry to learn of her passing. I will always remember her as a sweet, kind, and very intelligent woman.

I had the pleasure of working with Ann, and valued her kindness toward all the children. She was a pleasure with whom to teach, and a dear soul. God Bless her and her family.
My prayers go out to all of you. Ann was such an inspiration to me when I began teaching, and she was such a loving teacher to my daughter in preschool. She will be missed.

The Allen Family, formerly of Hillsboro, sends deepest condolences. Your grandparents – Hugh and Jocelyn – were our closest friends and neighbors in Hillsboro for three decades. Your Mom, sweet Ann, babysat our boys Walker and Timothy when she was a teenager, and was something of a Big Sister to them growing up. Like your grandparents, your Mom was always cheerful, fun-loving and available to help with any request. We will long remember those happy Hillsboro 4th of July gatherings on your grandparents’ front porch with you guys running around, the neighbors chatting and laughing, and – at least once – the Deputy stopping to reprimand your Dad for lighting fireworks on the stone wall. You are in our prayers, and we hope memories of your wonderful Mom will help you navigate this terrible and sudden loss. God Bless.

Dear Richardson Family...Ann was a "sub buddy" of mine for a few years at Frances Hazel Reid Elementary. She was so kind and calm with the students and they loved her! We became friends and shared several laughs at recess and lunch about things that happened during our days as subs. I am sorry to hear of her passing, I am no longer subbing and did not know she was ill. May God continue to comfort you, and please know your Mom loved her children very much!.....
