Ann M. Richardson's Obituary
Ann McLinden Richardson, 55 of Leesburg, passed away Thursday, May 19th at Loudoun Hospital after a brief illness due to cancer.
She was born Ann Hutchinson McLinden on January 20, 1961 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Hugh Joseph McLinden III and Jocelyn Griffith McLinden. Her family moved to Hillsboro, Virginia when she was six years old and graduated from Loudoun Valley High School in 1979.
She received a Bachelor of Science in Education from George Mason University in 1983 and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in 1993 from the same university.
She was a second grade elementary teacher for Loudoun County Public Schools for 11 years.
She married Kevin G. Richardson in 1992 and was a loving mother to their three children, Lauren, Kendall, and Timothy, all of the home and caring sister to Hugh J. McLinden IV of Sterling, Virginia.
She continued her service to the school system as a substitute teacher after her children began elementary school.
Services and interment will be held privately by the family at a later date at The Church of our Saviour at Oatlands.
