To the Fleming family;
Carol holds a special place in my heart and Bob and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I first met Carol when we went to nursing school together at St. Francis and then we worked together for 18 yrs at MCOSS Community Health in NJ. When my husband Bill and I moved to the VA Eastern Shore in 1987 Carol and Bob visited us often and also fell in love with the area and spent many weekends at my house while they built their house. We have many happy shared memories together. Fondly, Margie Briden
Please accept my deepest condolences on Carol's passing. I have fond memories of Carol from our days together at the MCOSS Marcy St. Freehold Health Center where we were visiting nurses together. Carol was always sharing humorous thoughts and was a very caring nurse and fellow "FHC" team member. One particular memory is when my young son asked Santa for a "yellow kitten with 13 stripes on his tail" and I asked my fellow nurses for help. Carol found the kitten at a patient's home and brought him back to the office in her coat for me. We kept him there for a week until I could bring him home from "Santa". What good laughs we had about that! Carol had such a good heart, and was committed to hospice very much. I have attached two photos from 1980 at one of our Office Christmas parties that became annual events and where we had such fun together. Carol is in the lower left in one and I am in the yellow sweater in the other-- we all were much younger then! I also visited yesterday with Anna Holloman, former nursing supervisor during the time we worked at the Freehold office- she is now 92 and in a nursing home, but remembered Carol with fond memories and asked me to also convey her thoughts and prayers for Carol to you her family.
With great sympathy for your loss:
