I met Carol at Ferrum Junior College through my roommate who was part of the school band as was Carol. While Carol was a year ahead of me, we were both from northern Virginia & maintained our friendship through the years. She came out to visit me in Illinois numerous times & I always saw her when I returned to Virginia. She was always so cheerful despite her many health issues. Elizabeth (Green) Forster
