Carol French Johnson's Obituary
Carol French Johnson 76, of Leesburg, VA passed away peacefully on March 3, 2023. Born on December 22, 1946 in Lincoln, Nebraska to the late Burton and Doris French. Carol is survived by her loving family including her Sister; Lea French Davis, Brother in law; David Davis, brother Jim French, Sister in law Marta French as well as numerous nieces and nephews and a granddaughter, Isabella Johnson. She was predeceased by her son David Patrick Johnson. She was a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth and George Washington Universities and worked tirelessly on behalf of people with disabilities and was proficient in sign language. She worked early in her career as a teacher to special needs students and later to adults with disabilities. She also was very well known as a musician on the flute and lent her playing to local productions and to her church. A lifelong Methodist, she was active in the church where she lived as well as Culmore United Methodist where she grew up.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 4 to 7 pm at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA 20175. Interment will be at Camp High Road in Middleburg, VA
