I worked with Catherine at Family Services in Leesburg for about 10 years prior to her retirement. She was a wonderful lady and a great friend to me. I miss her wonderul smile and wit. I want to express to you my deepest sympathy during your time of grief and just knowing she is now at peace and no longer in pain brings great comfort to you and your family.##imported-begin##Yvonne Hawkins##imported-end##
I worked with dear Catherine at Dept of Social Services and remained in touch. Diane Menefee was kind enough to e-mail me of her death. Catherine was a dear, loving spirit, so warm and kind. I have some of her beautiful photos of ducks hanging in my kitchen. My condolences to James, Cindy and the family.##imported-begin##Carole Lutness##imported-end##
I met Catherine in 1972 when I moved to Loudoun County. We became friends and I have so many memories of Catherine and Willard and love them so much. Catherine was amazing to me because she seemed to have"the peace that passes all understanding" regarding her illness and life. Her passing is bittersweet to me. I know she is in a better place but her passing has left a big hole in my heart. My prayers to Willard, Cindy and the rest of the family.##imported-begin##Brenda Swindall McClellan##imported-end##

It's hard to find the words to explain how important you are to me and how cavernous of a hole you have left in my heart. Thank you for being the most amazing grandmother, role model, cook, chauffeur, therapist, nurse, and so so much more. My life will never be the same without you and I thank you for making me the person I am today. I love you always and forever. And yes, I will keep my promise to "take care of [my] little family."##imported-begin##Keri Beth Shannon##imported-end##
