Charles Franklin Goss' Obituary
Charles Franklin Goss, 87 of Leesburg, Virginia passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017, at Heritage Hall in Leesburg, Virginia.
Born Sunday, November 3, 1929 in Lucketts, Virginia, he was the son of the late Charles and Mildred (Swartz) Goss.
Charles was a farmer his whole life and knew the meaning of hard work. He was born in the time of the depression and quit school to go work in the fields to help provide for his family.
Surviving are his wife Eileen M. (Russell) Goss, daughters, Judy Mae (Raymond E.) Foss of Martinsburg, WV, Ruth Charlene (William P.) Smith of Hundred, WV, Mary Jean Reed of Winchester, VA , step daughters: Lora Ann (Donald) Virts of Bluemont, VA and Mary Elaine Brown of Winchester, VA a brother Jimmy (June) Goss of Lucketts, VA and two sisters: Catherine Allison of Reston, VA and Betty Zinn of Gainesville, VA, fourteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Katherine Breeden and two brothers: Doug and Eddie Goss.
A service will be held on Wednesday March 8, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Circle SE Leesburg, VA 20175 with Chaplain Ken Patrick officiating. A visitation will be held from 12:00 PM till the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Furnace Mountain Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
