Today I go to celebrate the life of my very dear friend. My thoughts and prayers have been with Janet, George and all the family this week. I've carried a very heavy heart this past week. How do you say good bye to someone you love so much. We will all keep him alive in our hearts and thoughts everyday. Thank God for giving us such a man to share in our lives.
I remember Charlie's first day of High School. I was showing him around the school and we ended up being late for class. We bumped into Mr. Shipping(assistant principal) whom I new lol. He says Thorpe what are you doing and why are you late. Told him I was showing Charlie around the school.
Mr. Shipping says why don't you show him the office where you spend most of your time. Charlie really got a big laugh out of that. One of a thousand moments we shared.
