Charles Henry Rutherford II's Obituary
Charles “Charlie” Henry Rutherford II of Leesburg, VA, was called home to be with the Lord on September 1, 2018. He is survived by his wife Janet Rutherford and daughters Lori Lane and Renee Rutherford; brothers George Rutherford and Billy Carter; his grandchildren Shante Lane, Dwayne “DJ” Lane, Marcus Rutherford, Marquise Rutherford, Jada Coates and Nia Coates; and great-grandchildren Itianna, Nevaeha, and Darius Lane-Johnson, Zaniyah, Aliyah, and Natalia Lane and Anthony Ortiz; along with a host of family and friends.
Charlie was born on November 9, 1952 to the late Charles Henry “Bootle” and Lillie Rutherford. He was a business owner and a well-known resident of Loudoun County. Charlie will always be remembered for his charm, his loving soul, his musical talents, his sense of humor and his magnificent storytelling. No words can describe the impact this wonderful man had on so many lives. It is beyond measure. Everyone who knew him loved him instantly. He was one of the most well respected, honest, loyal and genuine men to ever walk this planet. He was truly the epitome of everything that is good and kind in the world. He was a perfect gentleman, a devoted husband, an adoring father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. We are all so grateful to have had him in our lives. The loss of this great man is devastating, but through the grace of God his light and spirit will live on in all of us.

A memorial service will be held a Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle, Leesburg, VA 20175 on Saturday, September 8, 2018. Family will welcome friends 11am to 12pm.
