Dr. Charles Allen Wickman, 82, of Potomac Falls, VA, passed away on Wednesday, April 1st, 2015. He was born on September 26th, 1932 in Gladstone, Michigan. He was the son of the late Theodore Agaton Wickman and the late Gladys Lyn Read Obituary
Pastor Wickman married Ron Ericksen and Nancy Long July 3, 1965 in Villa Park when he pastored Harvard Avenue Bible Church. We were in Chicago last week and saw Betty Price-Kilgore and we talked about his ministry. Ron & I are so saddened to see this news. Our heart felt condolences to Pat and the family.
I want to express my condolences on the loss of Chuck. He opened his arms to me as a pastor in transition in 1996 and helped us through a tough time in his Pastor-in-Residence Ministry. Many thanks to him and the Lord for such graciousness and a source of strength. He will be missed. Blessings on you Faith and the family,

We smile as we remember our little fledgling group, starting at Hamilton School, Reddick Chapel and Stull Methodist Church. He then encouraged us to build our own Church in 1972.
He led his congregation with solid Biblical teaching and personal caring for the flock.
He was a remarkable man and we cherish the wonderful memories.

Ken and Mary Johnson were privileged to have Pastor Chuck Wickman come to Livonia, Michigan to officiate at our wedding (2/14/70). We were pleased to have his wife Pat and several of our Harvard Avenue Bible Church friends attend our wedding. Ken grew up in Villa Park, Illinois and his mother Olive Johnson very fondly remembered the Wickman's many years of serving the congregation there. She was very sad to see them leave to move on to another assignment for the Lord. Ken, Dave Lane and Bill Busch visited the Wickmans in California several years later. We are thankful for Pastor Wickman's gifted ministry and his strong testimony and love for the Lord. We are sorry to hear of his passing and offer our sympathy to Pat and their family. What a wonderful Homecoming he is having, I am sure!

I remember babysitting for his children (very nice children) when I was in the Harvard Avenue Bible Church youth group many years ago. Those are happy memories for me. As the founding pastor of our church, Dr. Wickman's legacy intersects ours in such a significant and historic way.
