Christopher Allen Smith, age 37 of Leesburg, Virginia died on Friday, March 1, 2013.
Born on Tuesday, August 12, 1975 in San Diego, California, Chris was a son of Marvin L. Smith and Roberta Krauss Smith. He proudly served in the United States Air Force.
Chris pursued a career in ecommerce becoming one of the original five hundred employees of eBay. He was currently employed by buySAFE, an ecommerce startup, based in Arlington, VA.
He is survived by his daughter, Elisabeth Rose Harding and son, Ian Joseph Smith who reside with their mother Carolyn in Mansfield, PA; his mother of San Diego, CA; father, and stepmother, Evelyn Smith, of Kearneysville, WV; his twin brother, Benjamin F. Smith; his maternal grandmother Marion Krauss; paternal grandparents, Marvin W. and Anna Louise Smith; and nephews, Zachary and Lucas, all of San Diego, CA.
Following a Memorial Service in Mansfield, PA, interment will be10:30AM April 18, at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery in CA, a second Memorial Service will be held the same day at 2:30PM at the Universal Unitarian Church located at 8778 Cottonwood Ave Santee, CA 92071. “
